Good SEO is mostly a set of fundamentals done properly on every page. You do not need special tools to get these right. This is the checklist we run through on every project.
Give every page a clear title and description
Each page needs its own title (about 50 to 60 characters) and meta description (about 150 characters) that say what the page offers and who it is for. Include the main service and your city if you serve a local area.
Use headings properly
Use one main heading per page, then subheadings in logical order. Search engines and readers both use headings to understand what a page is about.
Make the site fast and mobile friendly
Most visitors in India browse on phones. Compress images, avoid heavy sliders, and test the site on a real phone. Slow pages lose visitors before they read a word.
Write clean, readable URLs
Use short URLs such as /services/web-development instead of long strings of numbers and symbols.
Add alt text to images
Describe what each image shows in a short sentence. It helps accessibility and helps images appear in search.
Set up Google Search Console and a sitemap
Search Console shows how Google sees your site, which pages are indexed and which searches bring visitors. Submit a sitemap so new pages are found quickly.
Claim your Google Business Profile
For local businesses this is often the biggest win. Add your address, phone number, hours, photos and services, and ask happy customers for reviews.
Add structured data
Structured data (JSON-LD) tells search engines and AI assistants who you are, where you operate and what you sell. Local business and FAQ markup are good places to start.
Write content that answers real questions
Pages that clearly answer what customers actually ask tend to rank better and convert better. Cover pricing, process, timelines and common doubts.
Be patient and measure
SEO usually takes a few months to show results. Check Search Console monthly, fix what is broken, and keep improving your best pages.
